As a part of the
faculty of West Amwell Township Elementary School since 2002, I feel
lucky to found this little gem of a school community. I am
convinced that this is the best place to teach and cannot imagine
teaching anywhere else! The students, families, staff and
administration make coming to work a pleasure.
Before being
certified in Elementary Education at Rider University I worked for
two years as a teaching naturalist at an environmental education
center in Upstate New York. This solidified my love of the outdoors
and sharing it with others. I enjoy learning about our natural
world and teaching hands-on science. I look forward to joining the
sixth grade on their trip to Fairview Lake each year.
When not in the
classroom I can be found on or near a body of water. The bays,
estuaries, and coast of Southern New Jersey keep me busy boating,
fishing and exploring all summer long. In the spring and fall I
look forward to visiting the freshwater lakes of the Adirondacks.
